Broken Orbit was a artist collaboration project between myself and long time friend LJ O’Leary. LJ is a multi talented artist, he was visiting me at my home in Florida and we decided to put a project together in which we could both help to produce the final outcome. LJ had recently suffered a pretty serious injury while surfing in which he damaged his eye, so he was drawing and painting a lot of eyes at the time in his life. We decided to take a few of his painting and tweek them in a way that we could incorporate them into a light painting image. These images are the results. The entire project from start to finish was completed in two days. All of my light designs are created in real time and captured to the camera in one single photographic frame. There is NO PHOTO EDITING used to create anything you see in my images.
