Light Painter Jason D. Page sells out “Illuminated Beings” his Premiere Release and The First Light Painting Photography on ThetaDrop.com generating over $100,000 in sales in under 25 minutes.

SUMMARY:
On May 6th, 2022, I (Jason D. Page) became the first Light Painting Artist to release a Light Painting NFT collection on the Theta Blockchain. The Collection was called “Illuminated Beings” and the entire collection sold out in under 25 minutes, generating over $100,000.00 in sales. This is the first Light Painting Photography NFT collection to ever completely sell out and/or generate these kinds of numbers. I am always looking for ways to innovate especially in the Light Painting space. I feel that building this collection, creating all the content that went into it and then selling it out in under 25 minutes is by far one of my greatest accomplishments to date. I have been fortunate to have had great success in many areas of Light Painting but this was a completely new challenge. I am very happy and proud of the way it turned out! Being the first to completely sell out a collection, especially in under 25 minutes, was a humbling feeling and I am so grateful for all the support and people that believe in me and my work! Moving forward I will focus on providing VALUE to my collectors by adding additional utilities to my Light Painting NFT’s. Light Painter Jason D. Page has been creating his Light Painting work since 2004. WHAT
Jason D. Page creates his images in the dark and uses Light as his medium. He uses a camera to record the movements and traces of light he creates within the frame during one single long exposure. Jason crafts invisible worlds of light, by hand, that are only revealed when the camera’s shutter closes. The resulting Light Painting is the compression of time, space and movements of light onto one single photographic frame. There is no photoshop or photo editing used to create anything you see in his images. Like an NFT, every Light Painting is unique and unrepeatable.

DROP SUMMARY:
On May 6th at 7PM EST Jason D. Page released 2040 Light Painting Packs that each held one of his “Illuminated Beings” Light Paintings. The Light Painting Packs sold for $50.00 each. There were 8 different “Illuminated Beings” released in the drop, each “Illuminated Being” was more rare than the next. The rarest “Illuminated Being” was an edition of 8 and the least rare was an edition of 1024. In the Light Painting Packs were also 8 randomly placed “Light Painted Golden Tickets” that were redeemable for the 1/1 Physical prints that the ticket represents. The “Illuminated Beings” immediately offered a utility in the form of access to the Making of Video of the rarest of the Illuminated Beings. The Illuminated Being NFT is the key that unlocks that video. There will be Challenges, Air Drops and Revenue Sharing for collectors of the “Illuminated Beings”

Drop Details:
Jason D. Page’s first Light Painting Drop was called “Illuminated Beings”. All of the “Illuminated Beings” are created in real time and captured to the camera in one single photographic frame. There is no Photoshop or photo editing used to create anything that you see in any of the images!

Light Painting Packs
In this Drop there were 2,040 Light Painting Packs. Each of the Light Painting Packs held one of 8 different “Illuminated Beings”. Each “Illuminated Being” is more rare than the next.

Rarity
The rarest “Illuminated Being” is an edition of 8, the next is an edition of 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512, 1024.

NFT Utility: Unlocking an Exclusive Making of Video
If you collect any of the “Illuminated Beings” NFT’s you will be granted exclusive access to the behind the scenes “making of” video of the rarest Light Painting in this series “Illuminated Being #1”.

Light Painted Golden Tickets: Redeemable NFTs
In the Light Painting Packs there were also 8, randomly placed, Light Painted Golden Tickets. The Golden Tickets have a corresponding “making of” video hosted by the Theta Video API! Each of the Golden Tickets is redeemable for a one of a kind, signed and numbered physical print. The prints will be a 24” x 36” Metallic Paper Print of the “Illuminated Being” that the Golden Ticket represents. Worldwide shipping of the print is included.

25,000 TFUEL Password Puzzle – Revenue Sharing
On the back of each of the “Illuminated Beings’’ physical prints will be part of a password that combined will unlock a Theta Wallet. If you collect all 8 “Illuminated Beings’’ physical prints or work with the other “Illuminated Beings’’ print collectors to put the puzzle pieces together, you can gain access to this wallet. The wallet will start off containing 25,000 TFUEL. On May 6th of every year deposits of 8% of the revenue Jason D. Page receives from secondary market sales of the “Illuminated Beings” will be deposited into this wallet in TFUEL. Once any funds are taken from the wallet all deposits will stop. This is a social/art experiment related to the nature of the medium of LIGHT.

NEW ILLUMINATED BEINGS AIRDROPS and CHALLENGES
Holders of randomly selected combinations of Two “Illuminated Beings” will be able to claim new “Illuminated Beings”. New Illuminated Beings will be received via “Challenges”. “Illuminated Beings” must be held in your wallet and not listed for sale to qualify. For instance if you hold “Illuminated Being” numbers 4 and 6 in your wallet at the time of the Challenge you will be able to claim the new “Illuminated Beings” Light Painting. There will be 8 new “Illuminated Beings” released. We will be presenting a new Challenge every 88 days to collectors.
